What an interesting day!!! :o)It's been a flower factory from the moment we started.
Everyone's been having issues with their gum paste so every time you use it with the ball tool it rips your petals to shreds (okay, so maybe that's a little over exaggerated, but it does get frustrating). *grunt*
Today, I had to stay an hour over because we had to finish a peony. I wish I had a picture to show you, but she's still in the infirmary *laughs*. She's not done yet. She's very delicate and needs to heal properly before her public debut....Hopefully she'll be dry tomorrow so I can show you. :o)
Sssshhh...I don't think she knows I took this one. *chuckles* She's such a cutie pie
The best surprise of the day was a visit from Connie!
She's a ROCK STAR!
Let's take a mini trip down memory lane:
*soft quiet music plays in the background* I met her in my pulled sugar class. She lives in the Wilton area so she's taken a million classes there. I must admit that I was at first intimidated by her...she's so tall, and I'm so not! *jealous* You would only find her funny if you could appreciate sarcasm. Seeing as I, MYSELF am full of sarcasm, I could appreciate a good joke when I hear one. I couldn't really see us being friends (but maybe because I never gave it a chance).

She then also took the Nicholas Lodge class with me last week and we sat next to each other (but not at the same station). She was a lean mean flower spitting machine. By the time Nick was done explaining the "how tos" she was done with her flower....and then began harrassing me about being a poke *laughs*
Anyways, she's really excited for me and my Adventures to Notter.
*sniff* I was extremely touched by the gesture.....awww...people out there like me. :o) *about to cry*
THANKS CONNIE!!!! :o) YOU ROCK!!!
Well, tomorrow we learn how to do brush embroidery (which I'll tell you what that is tomorrow because right now I have no idea). We will also learn to airbrush. I'm really excited about THAT because I have always wanted to "Pimp My Ride"....yeah right, my CAR would kill me! Seriously though, I think it would just be cool to know how...and maybe if I'm good enough, someone will hire me to do caricatures. * cheeky grin*
VICTORY IS MINE!! (now she wants to charge me $10 bucks for it)
